The Canadian Water Innovation Lab 2010

In October 2010, 250 young Canadians will attend a once-in-a-lifetime learning event that will turn their good intentions into concrete actions to protect our most precious natural resource: water. It’s called the Canadian Water Innovation Lab 2010 (CWIL), a natural extension of the Waterlution mission. This lab is for exceptional people looking for creative solutions to our complex water resource management problems. With the Lab, Waterlution is ready to move to another level.

 

Get Outdoors to the Kootenays: A joint CBEEN / EEPSA Unconference for Environmental Educators

CBEEN is partnering with the Environmental Educators Provincial Specialist Association (EEPSA) to deliver a PSA conference you won't forget! October 22-24, 2010, immerse yourself in experiential learning with fellow educators from across the province at Blue Lake Camp, amongst rustic cabins and inspiring mountain views. Learn how the BC Ministry of Education's Environmental Learning & Experience framework supports environmental and sustainability education and the tools to help you deliver it across the curriculum. Special guests include Dr. Rick Kool (Royal Roads University) and Dr. David Zandvliet (Simon Fraser University). More details to come. Contact admin@cbeen.org to express your interest.
