To offer teachers an alternative to having the Columbia Basin scale 3-D Model in their classrooms, a satellite image of the Columbia Basin has been generated as an overhead, found in the back of the Lesson Plan binders.
In keeping with trying to make more of the program accessible online, the full 3000 X 3741 pixel map will be downloadable (3.49 MB). The image will appear in a new window. Right click on the image and select "Save Image As..." to save it to your computer.

If you download the image, you could use basic image viewing software on your computer and a digital projector to manipulate the view for your class. The resolution is such that you can 'zoom' in to a specific area and make out much more detail about the topography, watersheds, water ways and the Columbia Basin Trust boundary.
